Shakira Wears Custom-Dyed Stuart Weitzman Shoes for Met Gala 2024 Red Carpet
Shakira graced the Met Gala red carpet for the first time on Monday at Metropolitan Museum in New York City wearing custom-dyed red satin platform Sandals from Stuart Weitzman.
Towering heels are what the “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” singer has become known for through the duration of her career. In March, the star donned a pair of Amina Muaddi Yigit platform stiletto boots during a visit to NYC. The boots were made with leather and featured a 6-inch stiletto heel and angled platform base alongside a sculpted design crafted with a pointed-toe silhouette and skin-tight fit. This past August, she attended the 2023 VMAs wearing a pair of gold-heeled sandals in a sky-high platform style from Piferi. The shoes were crafted with glossy metallic uppers accompanied by thick and secure straps.
For the Met Gala, Shakira made a statement in a red custom Carolina Herrera gown that featured side cutouts and diamond embellishments.

A singular band was present on the forefoot along with a minimalistic medium-sized ankle strap. The platform shoes were finished with a sharp stiletto heel that measured 5.75-inches.
