THIS Morning star Michelle Elman has hit back at trolls after she was slammed for moving on from her cheating ex just days later.
Last week the body confidence coach, 31, who regularly appears on the ITV show, revealed the news that she had split from her fiance on Instagram after a social media silence.
Michelle explained that she was only engaged for one day after the woman he had cheated on her with messaged her on social media.
The author was later swamped with support from her co-stars and celebrity pals, and then appeared on This Morning to address it all.
Over the weekend Michelle went on a date and shared a video with fans asking for help on what to wear.
Michelle clapped back at trolls in the caption saying: “And for anyone who thinks it’s too soon, my ex didn’t even wait to be single to do this… THAT is the definition of too soon.
“Keeping it very relaxed and casual but we are seeing each other again on Wednesday.”
The TV star also took to her Instagram story to share what happened.
Michelle said: “Back home now. Made a plan for Wednesday before we said bye so it was definitely fun.
“He knows everything going on and he even said at the end ‘on a more serious note, I hope you are doing OK after everything’
“And I thanked him cause for a whole afternoon I didn’t think about any of it and I really needed that.
“I’m not going to be ready to date seriously for a while, but it’s nice to get to know new people and just being open with your heart.
“He can’t take that away from me.”
She also shared a screenshot from their Whatsapp conversation – which showed that they were both on the same page.
Michelle said: “I’m looking for something casual. Totally get if that’s not your thing, just don’t want to send the wrong message or mislead anyone.”
Her date replied: “Absolutely same page, thanks for the clear communication.”
Michelle was single for eight years before she met her ex in 2021.
The former couple lived together for two years after meeting on a dating app.
Last week it was revealed that Michelle was back on the apps, looking for a new man already via the dating app Thursday.
The MailOnline discovered her profile, which indicated that she was looking for a “committed relationship” and listed “ambition” and “passion in whatever you do” as her green flags.
On This Morning last week Michelle said her ex begged her to forgive him after she warned him she was going to appear on the show.
Michelle told This Morning hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard of the horror moment she found out he had cheated – just 24 hours after he proposed.
The writer received a message off a woman and she sent screen shots from his dating profile, as well as his number.
She continued: “She told me the hotel, and I said put that in your email, and it came up, then he admitted it.
“This was meant to be the best weekend of my life.
“I went to be with my sister for a week, I had a competition to see who could cry the loudest with my two-year-old niece. I won.
“I don’t want his identity to come out, it’s not a story about him. It’s a story about me and women who have been cheated on.”
She added: “I spoke to him last night to give him a heads up about today.
“He said he loves me, he wants me back, and he will do anything to the point where he said, ‘Go on air say whatever you need’.
“Ultimately he’s said ‘I’m so sorry’.”
