Brotherhood Playoff Watch: Orlando Is Out
Despite a tremendous game from Paolo Banchero
Despite a brilliant game from Paolo Banchero, the Orlando Magic was eliminated by the Cleveland Cavaliers, 106-94.
Banchero finished with 38 points, 16 rebounds, two assists, three steals and one block. He shot 10-28 and hit 15-18 from the line.
Wendell Carter shot 5-10 for 13 points and had seven rebounds, three steals and an assist.
Orlando lost, but Banchero had a tremendous series and left a major impression, not least of all on Cleveland’s Donovan Mitchell, who said this after the game: “Paolo Banchero is going to be a monster.”
And he’s just 21.
There are eight teams left and three of those have former Blue Devils: Dallas (Kyrie Irving and Dereck Lively), Minnesota (Wendell Moore) and Boston (Jayson Tatum).
Minnesota plays Denver Monday after upsetting the defending champions in Game 1 of that series.
