DSVA TAKES SGBV CAMPAIGN TO OLU OF IWAYA’S PALACE
The Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA), through its Community Engagement Team, recently conducted a sensitisation session on Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) with members of the Iwaya community at the Oba’s Palace.
Mrs. Titilola Vivour-Adeniyi, the Executive Secretary of DSVA, affirmed the agency’s commitment to ensuring widespread dissemination of the SGBV message throughout the State.

His Royal Majesty, the Olu of Iwaya, Oba Suleiman Owolabi demonstrated his full commitment to ensuring the safety of community residents.
He granted the team from DSVA the privilege of engaging with community members and assured continuous engagement and awareness initiatives within the community.
Mr. Damilare Adewusi, Head of Community Engagement, gave insights to the community on the emerging issues of SGBV, legal provisions regarding SGBV, and reporting procedures.
SGBV awareness materials were also distributed to the over 1000 community participants, and the toll-free line 08000-333-333 was also shared.
