Major pub chain with over 250 locations giving away a free burger every week – ‘my kids love it and it’s cheap’
A POPULAR chain of pub restaurants is offering its customers a free burger every Friday in a deal it says is “seriously juicy”.
The UK group is known for its family-friendly low-cost meals and has some 250 locations across England, Wales, and Scotland.
Hungry Horse is offering two burgers for the prices of one every Friday.
Each burger is served in a toasted brioche bun with mayonnaise, red onion, and lettuce with onion rings and fries.
The burgers included in the “BOGOF Burger Friday” promotion include Quadzilla, Korean BBQ chicken, Smokin’ Jack, Southern-fried chicken burger, Bacon cheeseburger, Cheeseburger, and new burgers The Home Run and The Gravy One.
Both of the burgers must be ordered in the same transaction, with the cheapest of the two the one that customers will get for free.
Prices for each individual burger range from £8,69 for the cheeseburger to £14.49 for the Quadzilla, a double bacon cheeseburger topped with two buttermilk chicken breasts and a nacho cheese source.
Hungry Horse lovers took to social media to share their excitement about the deal, with one person writing: “Worth it doing by one get one free. I remember once I brought 2 burgers.
“One for now, took the other one home for the munchies later.”
Someone else said: “Quadzilla all day long. Take a friend, or partner, and get 2 very filling meals for the price of 1? Yes please!”
Another wrote: “My fave burger is the gravy one omg absolutely love it.”
On hotukdeals.com, one user wrote: “My kids love it and its cheap! So fine by me lol.”
And another said: “Korean BBQ chicken is a great deal. You get the (normally upgrade option) salt and pepper chips with this one. Also has 2 burgers on too. Prob best value one. (Apart from the quad)
“Cheap and cheerful and the drinks are decent price too. If ya not a snob, it’s not bad for the money for a cheap quick meal out.”
It comes as Wetherspoons has revealed the exact date when cheap pints will return to venues.
The pub giant is now planning its 12-day autumn real ale festival, set to begin on October 9 and end on October 20 at the chain’s 814 branches.
While the types of beer and the prices to be seen at this year’s event are yet to be confirmed, pints were available last year for just £2.
