Along with being a major fundraiser, it’s a major gala filled with celebrities, designers, A-listers, and more.

The 2024 Met Gala will take place on May 6, 2024 at 3 p.m. PDT/6 p.m. EDT.

What Is the Theme This Year?
The theme of this year’s Met Gala is “The Garden of Time” which was inspired by the Costume Institute’s new exhibit, “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.” The 2024 theme was inspired by JG Ballard’s 1962 short story, The Garden of Time, which is often interpreted as a metaphor for human history and the never-ending cycle of creation and destruction.
We believe Met Gala guests will draw from its floral and botanical references.
Who Will Be Attending?
Along with this year’s co-chairs Zendaya, Bad Bunny, Chris Hemsworth, and Jennifer Lopez, it’s been confirmed that Rihanna, Kim Kardashian, Blake Lively, and Kylie Jenner will attend, per Capital FM.
