FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Good Friday Evening,
It has been a gloomy, but above normal day again today, with high temps running above normal in the middle 70s. Tonight, expect chances of showers and a few rumbles early, it does appear that showers will weaken after midnight with a few isolated showers possible toward morning with lows in the lower 60s.
Saturday expect isolated showers early, but better chances of rain and storms during the afternoon to evening hours with highs still in the middle to upper 70s. More rain showers are expected during the day on Sunday, with the best chances later in the day with highs in the upper 70s.
Monday we will have better chances of afternoon to evening rain and storms with a warm front lifting north, and highs still in the middle 70s. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday we will have a very warm and moist atmosphere, so as we get into daytime heating, and get boundaries to approach, this will be enough lift to produce showers & some rumbles.
We will have better chances of PM rain and storms on Tuesday and Wednesday with highs in the lower 80s. Thursday we will have likely our best focused rain/storm chances later with an actual cold front pushing through. Temps will push into the upper 70s. The showers will taper off Friday morning as the cold front pulls away.
This should finally usher in drier air to our area for late Friday, with cooler temps expected into next weekend.
