My date looked like Santa Claus on vacation but was far from jolly – his behavior made me bolt when he used the bathroom
A SINGLE woman has revealed how a date went from bad to worse with a man who resembled a holiday character.
She thought he was filled with something other than the Christmas spirit and his actions made her want to run into another room.
A redditor shared a bad date with a man who looked like Santa Clause on vacation[/caption]Reddit user sweet_chick283 asked in a post about the worst date anyone has been on and one person delivered.
Redditor SassyDiva13 admitted that she had been on bad dates over the years, but there was one that took the cake.
“One of the worst was this guy I met on a dating site. We agreed to go to dinner at a nearby restaurant,” she explained.
A major red flag from the beginning was that his dating app profile picture was of himself but just a “few” years old.
“He straight up looked like Santa Claus on vacation complete with the Hawaiian shirt,” she added.
The woman admitted that she was a little unhappy about that detail but didn’t think it was the end of the world.
Depending on how the dinner date went, she thought maybe he could be “jolly and fun.”
That wasn’t the case because she said it was a “big NO” and many of her feelings stemmed from how he talked about his three previous marriages.
As they ordered food, he brought up the first who he described as a crazy b***h.
His vocabulary didn’t get any better because that was what he also called his second ex-wife.
He switched things up a bit for the third woman and dubbed her a “psycho-crazy b***h from hell.”
The Redditor was also told about a traumatic moment in their relationship, where he claimed she hit him in the face with a frying pan.
She was admittedly “horrified” and said that he “seemed to enjoy” her expression.
“That was until I asked ‘What did he do to her to make her smack him upside the head with said frying pan?'” she added.
A Reddit user agreed that it was a “nightmare scenario.”
“At a guess, he was calling you a crazy b***h lmao,” they wrote.
By this point, she “thought it was an awful date and I couldn’t wait to go home.”
It was as if he knew I wanted to bolt out the door. I got my chance when he finally went to the men’s room.

She mentioned during it that she wanted to go to her house soon.
Instead of listening to her request, he ordered dessert and told her they would “discuss that later” because he was paying for the meal and wanted to enjoy it together.
She waited a few minutes and then “politely excused herself” to the bathroom.
He stood up and watched her go in and was watching her when she returned to the table, she said.
“It was as if he knew I wanted to bolt out the door. I got my chance when he finally went to the men’s room,” she added.
The woman had to be quick before she made her escape but still wanted to be courteous to the wait staff.
She handed the waitress money for her food plus a tip and explained that she was on a “very bad date.”
The Reddit user left the restaurant just before he joined the table from the men’s room.
While she left, he “started screaming like a lunatic” at her through the front windows.
She didn’t stop to listen to what he was saying and just ran to her car.
“‘Leaving?! But I finally found the roofies I bought!'” a reader commented in disbelief about the man’s behavior.
