‘That’s a big NOPE from me!’ people yell as estate agent reveals the creepiest discovery she’s ever made in a house
AN ESTATE agent got a nasty surprise when she went to view a property that looked totally normal from the outside.
Jessica Law, an estate agent based in Florida was looking around the house when she opened what she thought was a closet door.
Jessica was left horrified by the the hidden passage found in the bedroom[/caption]But she was left horrified to find it was a hidden door for something that looked very sinister.
Taking to social media, she said: “I’m not gonna lie, in all the years I’ve been selling real estate, I’ve never had something quite like this come up.”
The bedroom at the back of the house had a built-in closet, but when she opened the door it showed an iron door with a swinging latch that led to the most mysterious concrete staircase.
Jessica added that the original house was built in 1958, but the secret room looked much older.
As she made her way down the staircase of horror, which was painted bright white, she noticed it had everything you would need to live down there.
That included electricity, water and a dehumidifier.
“So it is set up to house, you know, living things,” she added.
As she reached the end of the staircase she entered a teeny, narrow L-shaped hallway.
As if that wasn’t ominous enough, to the right of the hallway was a large all-white room with overhead lights.
The room was eerily sparse minus a small rug in the centre of the room, a table and a small armchair in the corner.
She asked viewers what they thought of the room and what on earth it could be used for.
The video has since gone viral over on her TikTok account @jessicadlaw with over 2 million views and 60k likes.
People were quick to take to the comments to share what they thought the room was for.
One person wrote: “That’s a big NOPE for me! I’ve seen this true crime episode.”
Another commented: “Panic room. Latch is inside the room. Meant to keep something out not in.”
“The latch is on the INSIDE, so it was meant to lock people OUT. That’s a good sign,” penned a third.
Meanwhile a fourth said: “Cops. Immediately. Just in case you could solve several cold cases.”
“Hostages…. That room was used for hostages, the only answer,” claimed a fifth
Someone else added: “RUN!!”
