Scots sugar daddy scammer lured cheating husbands onto her site before blackmailing them for thousands of pounds
A SCOTTISH sugar daddy scammer who lured cheating men onto online sites before blackmailing them for thousands of pounds has dodged jail.
Tiffany Anderson from Aberdeen admitted using adult-only dating sites to lure her victims into buying sexual pictures and videos of her.
But after the men paid for the content, the 26-year-old threatened to expose them to their friends and family.
And she urged the them to “make a deal” by paying up, forcing the men to cough up nearly £700 to keep her quiet.
Including previous sextortion scams, she has so far managed to bag nearly £2,000 from six men she met on dating sites.
Anderson pled guilty to two counts of extortion at Aberdeen Sheriff Court, The Press and Journal reported.
Fiscal depute Stephanie Cardow told the court that Anderson and a man had been chatting on a dating site called Seeking.com on June 20, 2021.
The pair exchanged numbers and started to speak on WhatsApp, where Anderson introduced herself as “Cody” and asked the man if he “was up for a little online fun?”.
The man transferred £50 to Anderson for several explicit pictures and videos of herself.
She then asked the man: “How about I send your friends and family all out messages on your Seeking page where you’re paying girls for arrangements?
“Don’t even block me or I’ll message them straight away and I’m sure you don’t want the embarrassment and humiliation of that.”
Anderson sent more texts threatening to send their messages to his friends and family, and asked for £100 to never hear from her again.
The man who was “shocked and alarmed”, agreed to the deal and ended up paying Anderson £520.
Ms Cardow told the court about another incident involving a second man who met Anderson on the same website.
He started chatting with a profile called ‘AllYours96’, before the pair swapped numbers and moved to WhatsApp.
And she also asked the man if he was “up for some online fun”.
He then sent her over £40 for pictures and videos.
Anderson then threatened to expose the man to his loved ones, and even forwarded a screenshot from Facebook showing his friends list.
She then said she would send his friends and family all of their messages.
And warned: “I’m sure you do not want the embarrassment and humiliation of it all.”
The man transferred several amounts of money to Anderson which came to a total of £150.
Anderson pled guilty to two counts of extortion.
Defence solicitor Alex Burn claimed his client was not behind the scam.
He said: “This is a situation where it was a scheme to obtain money from individuals who engaged with her and in this type of behaviour that was described online.
“She received no financial benefit from this, as her boyfriend, who is a particularly nasty individual, kept all the money and was feeding her cocaine.
“There are more people involved in this than just Miss Anderson.”
Sheriff Lesley Johnston told Anderson: “Your actions in committing these offences were premeditated and you have caused significant upset to the complainers involved.
“However, there’s a significant amount of mitigation involved, and I’m satisfied that you did not act alone and that there was pressure put on you by others.”
Sheriff Johnston made Anderson subject to a community payback order with supervision for two years.
During a previous honey pot scam, Anderson extorted a total of £1,300 from four men.
One of her victim had to pay up around £600 to prevent his girlfriend from finding out that he joined an online dating site.
