Police looking for suspects who damaged bank ATM, stole large amounts of money in CT
Police in Norwich are investigating an ATM theft over the weekend.
Members of the Norwich Police Department‘s Patrol and Detective Divisions responded to the Eastern Savings Bank at 666 West Main St. around 8:50 a.m. on Sunday for reported damage to the drive-thru ATM.
As officers arrived, they located a heavily damaged ATM and learned that a large sum of currency had been stolen, according to police.
“The initial investigation revealed multiple subjects worked together using a pickup truck and hand tools to pry the ATM open and steal the contents,” police said.
