Nanaimo, BC - The Nanaimo Clippers, a storied franchise in the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) since 1972, are set to embark on a thrilling new chapter with a comprehensive rebranding initiative ahead of the upcoming 2024-25 hockey season. This transformation includes the introduction of fresh primary and secondary logos, alongside dynamic jersey designs that embody the team's rich history and vibrant future.
Leading the creative direction for this initiative is Jared Rhind, President & Creative Director at local Nanaimo-based Pedestrian Studio. “Being part of this project has been an honour; gathering insights from passionate fans, alumni, and players while collaborating closely with the internal crew. From the initial discussions, our studio has been aligned with leadership’s vision and direction, striking a balance to infuse new energy into the franchise while honouring its rich history. Launching innovation into something as beloved as a city's team is a serious endeavour, and we believe it will come to embody the very best of our Clippers and Nanaimo. As the BCHL prepares for the 2024-25 campaign, the Nanaimo Clippers have sought to revitalize their visual identity while honouring their enduring legacy of over 50 years of hockey.
