Free fitness classes at Tawasentha Fitness Courts in May, June
ALTAMONT, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- MVP Arena Community Partnership will host free fitness classes at Tawasentha Fitness Courts at Tawasentha Park in Altamont from May to June. The classes will be held every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at different times, starting Wednesday, May 1.
Classes
- Functional Strength Training: Wednesdays from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. running from May 1 to June 12
- Functional Fitness: Thursdays from 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. running from May 2 to June 13
- Lifted Vision, Community Yoga: Thursdays from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. running from May 2 to June 13
- Total Body Circuit: Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. running from May 7 to June 25
- Tai Chi: Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. running from June 5 to 26
These classes will give people a chance to work out for free in a group environment and take the reins on their health journey. Workouts at the fitness court studio are adaptable for all fitness levels and allow users to move at their own pace. Users can also download the Fitness Court app for free fitness coaching.
