Police investigating stabbing in Albany
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Albany Police Department confirmed they are investigating a stabbing that occurred on Wednesday morning. The incident took place around 11:30 a.m. on Orange Street near Henry Johnson Boulevard and Lexington Avenue.
Police say that officers arriving to a residence on the 300 block of Orange Street located a 50-year-old man with a stab wound to the abdomen. The victim was tended to on the scene before being transported to Albany Medical Center to be treated for a non-life threatening injury.
According to police, a 19-year-old suspect has been arrested in connection to the investigation. The suspect was arraigned at the Albany City Criminal Court on Wednesday and was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
