Clarkson’s Farm fans will be devastated as Jeremy makes heartbreaking U-turn on beloved animal he refused to eat
JEREMY Clarkson is left bereft when he has to send his cow Pepper to the abattoir in the new series of Clarkson’s Farm.
The former Top Gear and Grand Tour host was visibly upset when she was taken away as tough times hit Diddly Squat Farm.

He said: “This is my pet. Five-year-old Rosie, from the farm we bought her from, said this cow was her favourite.
“She asked: ‘Would you look after Pepper for me?’ So I said I would.”
Later in the series, when a vet discovered Pepper wasn’t pregnant, someone suggested she be sent for meat.
Clarkson snapped back: “I’m not eating Pepper, and that’s the end of it.”
But in Clarkson’s Farm 3, which drops tomorrow on Prime Video, growing problems mean he and new farm manager Kaleb Cooper decide to rear pigs.
That means that over half his cows — including Pepper — must be taken away, and Jeremy can’t quite grasp they’re going to their deaths.
He said: “I’m finding today really quite sad. Pepper is going, obviously — what do you think will become of her?”
And there’s more heartache for Jeremy when large numbers of the pigs he bought for the Oxfordshire farm also start dying.
He and girlfriend Lisa Hogan are reduced to tears.
But he perks up the following day when he realises how much money the new animals will bring in.
Jeremy said: “The next day, irony of ironies, we get a visit from the butcher.
“Holy moly! The only words I can think of are ‘Farmer logic’, because all farmers love animals — and then they kill them and sell them.”
The butcher wryly replied: “This way you can love them twice.”
