Warrant issued for woman accused of killing husband with pickup truck
OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — A warrant has been issued for a woman accused of running over her husband with a pickup truck and killing him in a northwest Oklahoma City parking lot.
According to Oklahoma City Police, officers responded to a reported injury accident near NW 10th Street and N Rockwell Avenue at around 5:30 p.m. on April 16.
Upon arrival, responding officers found 60-year-old Lynn Morgan critically injured in a parking lot. The victim was transported to a hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Investigators determined that Lynn was run over by a pickup truck driven by his wife, 66-year-old Treva Morgan, after the couple got into an argument.
After Treva pulled the truck into the parking lot, police say the decision was made that Lynn would get out and walk. Treva reportedly accelerated backward as Lynn, who was sitting in the passenger seat, stepped out of the truck.
Lynn was struck and dragged backward by the open passenger door before Treva allegedly accelerated forward, running over Lynn after he fell to the ground.
As a result of the incident, a warrant was issued for Treva Morgan on a complaint of negligent homicide.
