‘I couldn’t believe it’, shoppers racing to a supermarket to nab lingerie hauls as bras & knickers are slashed to 50p
FINDING lingerie that’s both flattering and purse-friendly is oftentimes a challenge.
But luckily, bargain-hunting fashionistas have spotted the ultimate deal at a major supermarket where bras and knickers have been slashed to pennies.
One lucky shopper, Reanne Attwood, took Facebook to show off her monster haul of cut-price lingerie, including lace undies and sexy bras going for under a quid.
According to her, ASDA were now offering a wide range of underwear in as part of a ”huge sale” – and whether you’re after something more everyday-friendly or a sexy number for bedroom, there’s a pick for every occasion.
Urging others to not sleep on the incredible offer, Reanne shared snaps of the goodies she’d got her hands on the popular Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group.
”First time posting as I never get bargain, went in my local ASDA and underwear was on a HUGE sale,” she wrote in the caption of the post.
Some of the cut-price lingerie essentials included bras for £1 and knickers for 50p – and she’d even found three-packs for the same price.
Gobsmacked by the incredible deal, Reanne made sure to stock up on the underwear, grabbing stunning red bras with a satin-line finish, as well as a gorgeous khaki bra of a similar cut.
The mega haul also included two white bras and several pairs of knickers, some of which she’d snapped up for others.
”Not all for me, picked up for family members too!” said the shopper who’d spotted the bargain in the Halesowen branch, near Birmingham.
Although Reanne didn’t reveal the full price of the goodies, social media users could see that one item had been slashed from £8.50 to a mere 50p, saving her a fortune.
Since being uploaded on the Facebook page – home to more than 2.4million bargain lovers – the post has racked up over 120 likes in less than a day.
Dozens flocked to comments to share their thoughts, as well as tag their pals and family to inform them about the bra-vellous news.
”I got two packs of three bras last week, fiver a pack, I couldn’t believe it,” one ASDA fan shared their absolute bargain of a win.
Another tagged their friend and was planning a trip to the local store.
”Shall we have a look on Friday? Let’s hope we find some bargains.”
However, not everyone’s had the best luck with spotting the purse-friendly lingerie, with one moaning to their mate: ”Why can’t we find these?”
”Just looked – only small sizes on their webpage,” an online shopper warned.

One fan of the gorgeous underwear said: ”Absolutely love the colour of this bra. The fit is great and keeps everything in place.
”Only downside is that is shows up a roll on deodorant.”
Another chuckled: ”This is as beautiful as I thought it would be. It’s not the most comfortable bra as, being older, heavy sagging boobs make the deep sides dig in after a while.
”But I’m not wearing a bra like this to do the gardening so it doesn’t matter.”
