Sunshine and warmer temps on tap
In the wake of a slow moving cold front we have now seen all of the rain and most of the clouds move out. This will set us on track for a couple days worth of time to dry out. High temps will push into the 70's for much of WNY on Wednesday with similar temperatures continuing into Thursday. For Friday we can expect even warmer daytime highs, potentially even reaching 80° ahead of a chance for some scattered late day showers. The more likely window for rain on Friday should arrive by the evening hours along with a chance for a few thunderstorms.
While this weekend will bring yet another chance for weekend raindrops, Saturday again will be the most likely of the two days to dodge showers. Sunday could bring some stray sprinkles, though nothing widespread is currently expected.
