Williams drives his point with his own misleading stats | READER COMMENTARY
I don’t disagree that Baltimore needs a new mayor. But I dislike how the part-owner of The Baltimore Sun uses auto theft data throughout his analysis (“Armstrong Williams: Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott’s crime numbers don’t add up,” April 29).
Armstrong Williams knows about the crazy Kia auto theft situation. If he wants me to pay attention to him, he will re-write his column removing that crazy car theft anomaly. Then I can see if his logic still holds. Are general crime numbers up or down? Show me the stats minus the Kia thefts that have happened everywhere. Then I will pay attention.
