San Rafael suspect accused of firing gun while intoxicated
A man allegedly fired a handgun several times into the ground while he was intoxicated in San Rafael.
The incident happened at about 9 a.m. Monday in the parking lot of a Canal Street apartment complex, police Sgt. Justin Graham said. Police found bullet casings and determined that the suspect fired up to 14 rounds. No injuries were reported.
Nardo Deleon, 57, of San Rafael was arrested on suspicion of negligently discharging a firearm in public, carrying a loaded gun in public and being intoxicated in public. He was booked into the Marin County Jail, where his bail amount was set at $150,000.
