Jeanerette man charged with 3 murder counts in connection with March shooting

JEANERETTE, La. (KLFY) -- A Jeanerette man has been arrested in connection with a shooting in the town in March, authorities said.
Prynce Young, 20, of Jeanerette is charged with three counts of attempted second degree murder, attempted armed robbery, illegal discharge of a firearm and illegal carrying of a firearm, according to Jeanerette City Marshal Fernest "Pac Man" Martin.
Young was wanted for his alleged involvement in the shooting of Gavin Romero near the corner of Third and Lovette streets on March 7, officials said.
Bond details were not released.
