“After more than two years of extensive design, engineering and development work, we are proud to unveil the design of TWR’s debut product,” Fergus Walkinshaw said.
“The outcome is a true drivers’ Super-GT built from the foundations of the iconic Jaguar XJS and appropriately named the Supercat.
“This bold expression of the breed fulfils our mission to build cars worthy of TWR’s winning legacy, starting with this remarkable car as it enters its 50th year.”
The vehicle will be available in the UK and major international markets, including the USA.
A firm release date is yet to be set, but deliveries for the lucky 88 new owners will take place from around August this year.

The classic Creighton Brown McLaren F1 motor only comes with 240 miles on the clock, making it a truly exceptional find for any collector.
This beautiful model was launched in 1992 and created by Formula One racing car designer Gordon Murray.
He originally contacted former McLaren owner Ron Dennis with the idea of building a road car that would deliver best-in-class looks, performance, and, most importantly, a great driving experience.
There are just 106 of this model in the world, but only 64 of those became street-legal.
The stunning racecar has a powerful BMW 6.1-liter V-12 engine that produces 618 hp.
And, it can reach a top speed of over 240 mph, making it the fastest production vehicle in the world for several years.
The listing read: “This model, besides being the only one to wear Creighton Brown, is also the closest you can come to buying a brand-new example.
“This F1 has just over 240 miles on the odometer nearly 30 years after leaving the factory.
“The car, which has been federalised for use in the U.S., also comes with all its original accessories.
“This includes a custom luggage set that matches the interior, a FACOM tool chest and tool roll, and a TAG Heuer 6000 Chronometer made exclusively for F1 road car owners.
“The appreciation and value of the McLaren F1 is comparable to other landmark automobiles like the Ferrari 250 GTO and can even be likened to timeless artwork housed in the world’s most famous museums,” said Shelby Myers, RM Sotheby’s head of private sales.
“It’s not just a vehicle; it’s a masterpiece.”
The car will be auctioned online by Sotheby’s Sealed which will run from Wednesday, May 15, to Friday, May 17.
