Jamal Murray mean-mugged LeBron James after viciously dunking on him and NBA fans loved it
Jamal Murray entered Monday night’s Game 5 with the Los Angeles Lakers with concerns about his health. The Denver Nuggets superstar left with an all-time performance in a win and the most emphatic statement possible on LeBron James: an absolutely vicious dunk on the legend in crunch time.
As the Nuggets worked to finally put the Lakers away and advance to the second round, Murray turned on the Jets. He scored 13 of the Nuggets’ 27 fourth-quarter points — including another game-winner and this absolutely monstrous jam on James. Even better, he mean-mugged James and stole his usual celebratory shoulder shrug celebration after the dunk.
If Murray was at all unhealthy or uncomfortable, you would’ve never known it after seeing this sequence from the electric point guard:
