I’m 29 and married a woman 37 years older – people always assume I’m a gold digger but I’m actually the breadwinner
AN influencer who married someone 37 years older has defended age gap relationships – despite getting divorced from her partner.
Julia Zelg, 29, met Eileen de Freest, 66, on Tinder in 2018 and wed a year later after a whirlwind romance.

But the pair remain friends after an amicable break-up.
Julia, who lives in London, told us that age wasn’t an issue.
And she doesn’t see a problem with dating someone much older.
The singer/songwriter said: “I tend to be more attracted to older people.
“You just can’t choose who you’re naturally attracted to.
“I have met older people who are really immature and younger people who are very responsible.
“So I don’t judge anyone based on when they were born.
“We’re still good friends and co-parent our pets.
“I think it’s good to mention that we didn’t split up because of the age gap.
“We just had unreconcilable differences not based on our ages.”
Julia added: “The only downsides of dating older people is the judgment from others and the fact that I would probably outlive my partner.
“I think I faced more judgment than my partner for being with someone older.
“People online assumed I was a gold digger.
“I was actually supporting both me and my wife financially for our entire relationship.”
