Serious crash involving motorcyclist shuts down Berlin Turnpike
Parts of the Berlin Turnpike were closed Sunday morning as police investigated a serious motorcycle crash in Wethersfield.
Officers were called to 1750 Berlin Turnpike at 6:31 a.m. Sunday for a report of a motor vehicle crash involving a motorcycle, according to the Wethersfield Police Department.
The operator of the motorcycle sustained serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment, police said.
The northbound Berlin Turnpike was shut down at Pawtucket Street Sunday morning while the Mid-State Accident Reconstruction Team investigated the crash.
