Rapp Road near Crossgates closing for 2 weeks
GUILDERLAND, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Construction will close a section of Rapp Road in Guilderland for two weeks starting Monday, April 29. An official notification from the town said the portion from Crossgates Mall and Gipp Roads needs to be realigned to connect properly with Crossgates Mall Road.
The announcement said that realigning the road was a condition of the Planning Board’s approval for the developers of the multi-family units going up in the area. The construction is supposed to mitigate traffic impacts to the north, in the Rapp Road historic neighborhood of Albany.
