I’m a make-up artist and here’s the simple way to knock decades off your face using a ten second concealer trick
We all want to make sure we avoid the ageing process for as long as possible.
And one make-up pro has revealed the concealer hack she uses to give herself an instant face lift and knock decades off her face.
Meagan Anderson took to social media after trying the hack saying: “Why did this work so well? This should not have f***ing worked.”
The simple trick took just seconds to do and instantly made her face look more lifted without the need of Botox or any fancy creams.
In the clip, she showed how to do it and it’s all to do with where you place your normal concealer.

Of course, you want to make sure the make-up product is a couple of shades lighter than your foundations – as this will provide the lifting effect.
The 48-year-old added: “We’re bringing light to mature places because why? Listen, ladies, if you’re over 35, we are working against gravity here.”
During the make-up demonstration she placed dabs of concealer in six places.
The beauty whizz first started with the marionette lines around the mouth, above and below the lips, under the inner and outer corner of the eye and just above the peak of the eyebrow.
She then took a beauty sponge and dabbed the product in instead of blending it in to create a more defined look and set it in place with pwoder.
Her face instantly looked much younger and more lifted – but there were some extra steps you could take for maximum impact.
Next she applied contour, which is a darker type of make-up, and placed it higher than you might usually.
She revealed that you want to apply it higher to pull the facial features up instead of down.
Meagan then added blush to her cheeks and finished the look with some highlighter on the places she applied the concealer to catch the light.

The clip posted to her TikTok account @meaganonline has since gone viral with over 15k views.
People were quick to take to the comments seriously impressed by the results.
One person wrote: “I’ll try this tomorrow.”

“Can you list all the products? Your lips too please! Love this,” penned a third.
Meanwhile a fourth said: “Looks gorgeous.”
Someone else added: “What contour did you use please?”

Tips to age well
There are a number of habits you can take up to care for your health and wellbeing as you age.
Age UK shared the following tips:
- Do things that you enjoy everyday – whether that’s cooking, seeing friends or enjoying a good book
- Stay hydrated – drink six to eight cups of water a day
- Eat plenty of fruit and veggies to lower your risk of heart disease and certain cancers, have beans, pulses, fish, eggs and meat to repair your body after injury, starchy carbs for energy dairy to help keep bones strong
- Manage long-term health conditions to prevent them progressing or having a greater impact on your health
- Quit smoking and reduce alcohol intake to no more than 14 units a week
- Make mental health a priority and get treatment for it, as it can also impact physical health
- Make sure you’re getting quality sleep
- Keep socialising – and call a friend or loved one if you can’t make it out the house
- Be physically active to lower the risk of depression and dementia, heart disease, stroke, Parkinson’s and some cancers
