Melania Trump shares necklace ‘prioritizing self-care’ on day before her 54th birthday
Former First Lady Melania Trump on the day before her 54th birthday shared a personalized version of the Mother’s Day necklace she is selling and emphasized ‘prioritizing self-care’.
Melania shared an image of her personally customized gold vermeil necklace on Thursday morning, four days after she put them on sale for $245 each on her website.
‘As mothers, we are inclined to honor our mothers on Mother’s Day, but we must also be mindful of ourselves,’ she wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
‘Our families and children enjoy greater stability when commemorating motherhood while concurrently prioritizing self-care.’
The flower pendant had ‘DJT’, ‘MKT’, and ‘BWT’ engraved, one on each of its three heart-shaped petals. They are initials for her husband, Donald John Trump; herself, Melania Knauss Trump; and their 18-year-old son, Barron William Trump.
It appeared to show the commitment that Melania, who is a largely private person, has to her family. Melania had been absent from the campaign trail until Saturday, when she hosted her first fundraiser for her husband’s 2024 campaign at Mar-a-Lago.
On Sunday, she launched her ‘Her Love & Gratitude’ necklace ‘to express immense gratitude and honor all mothers’. It allows customers to choose personalized engravings for each of the three petals.
Stuck in Manhattan Criminal Court the following day, her husband complained that his hush money trial, which he is required to attend, is interfering with his campaigning.
‘It’s very unfair what’s going on and I should be allowed to campaign,’ said Trump on Monday. ‘We did nothing wrong.’
The hush money case, which is the first criminal trial against any former or current US president, centers on a $130,000 hush money payment that Trump’s former personal lawyer made to porn star Stormy Daniels to silence her on an alleged affair.
When the Daniels hush payment story first broke out in January 2018, during Trump’s presidency, Melania was furious and temporarily left the White House for Mar-a-Lago.
Earlier this month, sources told The New York Times that Melania privately called the hush money trial ‘a disgrace’ and election interference.
Trump is due back in court for his hush money trial on Friday, which is Melania’s birthday.
Last year on April 26, some took notice that Trump ranted online but missed wishing his wife a happy birthday online. People reported that Melania celebrated her 53rd birthday low key at Mar-a-Lago with friends.
