I’ve been using the same method to clean my baseboards for years – it’s cheap & easy, I only do it once every few months
A CLEANING fan has shared her go-to method to keep her baseboards in tip-top shape.
She explained she’s relied on the inexpensive and simple trick for years.
The expert (@Mommapeaches5) shared her cleaning hack in a viral TikTok video.
She gets rid of dust and grime on her white baseboards with common household items.
With a window cleaner, she sprayed it onto her baseboards directly, leaving the product alone for a few minutes to let it work.
Next, she wiped away the residue with some paper towels. The key, she added, is to keep up with the routine once every few months.
“Oh my gosh, just like brand spanking new,” she said, surprised by the difference it made.
A washcloth trick turned a hand towel into a turbo-cleaning weapon.
She ran a clean towel under water and drained most of the water out, leaving a bit in the cloth.
Next, she heated it in the microwave for one minute.
“The whole microwave is steamed up from this so if you’ve got splatters from any kind of food, all you’re going to do now is start wiping this down really good,” she explained.
With the towel, she instantly cleaned the microwave door, bottom, and top.
“Remember, it’s super hot but it’s sparkling clean,” she warned.
She even had a homemade solution to deep-clean her wooden cutting boards.
On a board, she added some salt and half a lemon, squeezing the juice directly on the wood.
After a few moments of “scrubbing” the board with the lemon, the board was free of former food stains and smells.
Oh my gosh, just like brand spanking new.

“You should be. doing this all of time, at least once or twice a week,” she said.
“A little bit of olive oil after you get it nice and rinsed and just like [that], brand new guys.”
