‘Need this’ shoppers race to Asda to buy adorable new homeware range with bargains for a fiver
FORGET dog or cat prints – this year it’s all about the guinea pig.
And Asda has hit the nail on the head once again with its latest homeware range, with adorable guinea goodies from just £3.50.
Standout items include a pink reversible duvet covet set for £8, an artificial succulent in a guinea pig pot for £5 and a shaped bath mat for a tenner.
In a post on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook, bargain-hunters said there are “over 20 items” with a guinea pig theme on the George at Asda website.
And the comments section was almost immediately filled with people weighing in on the product range.

There’s also a guinea pig cushion on sale for £12, with the accessory arguably the cutest of all.
And shoppers raved about the filled cushion in the reviews section, with one writing: “I’m always on the hunt for guinea pig themed things as it’s my special interest being autistic, and Asda seems to never fail with every single guinea pig product.
“The guinea pig cushion is a 2 in 1 it can be a cushion as well as a huggable teddy.
“It’s affordable and great quality!”
