Major supermarket delivery service down with customers left without any shopping
Sainsbury’s customers have been left in the dark after the supermarket delivery service went down in the UK.
Shoppers reported problems with the supermarket’s order tracking today.
The outage reportedly happened at around 6am, online tracker DownDetector shows.
Customers said on social media their orders that were due for delivery this morning never arrived.
Mike Cowan said on X: ‘I’ve been on hold for 30 minutes to speak to a customer service agent. I’d like to know where my order is as I’ve not received my receipt and it should have been delivered by now.’
Sainsbury’s warned it is ‘experiencing some tech issues this morning, which is affecting a lot of orders.’
Sainsbury’s was contacted for a comment.
