She has over a decade of industry experience offering injectable treatments and non-surgical anti-aging solutions.
Speaking to The U.S. Sun, she revealed how to slow the signs of aging at home without causing damage to the skin.
SKIN SORROWS
Dr. Saleki warned that various DIY treatments have racked up thousands of views online despite damaging skin.
She revealed two cooking ingredients that shouldn’t be applied as a home remedy.
“Viral anti-aging hacks such as DIY treatments involving lemon juice or baking soda should be avoided,” she said.
“These ingredients can be too harsh for the skin, causing irritation, redness, and even chemical burns.
“Additionally, using skincare products not suited to your skin type or over-exfoliating can damage the skin’s barrier, leading to increased sensitivity and accelerated aging over time.
“It’s best to stick to scientifically proven ingredients and seek advice from a skincare professional for personalized recommendations.”
BEAUTY BASICS
Dr. Saleki recommended investing in skincare products with active ingredients to reduce the appearance of the early signs of aging.
“Staple skincare products for every age include a gentle cleanser, moisturizer, sunscreen with at least SPF 50, and antioxidants like vitamin C to protect against environmental damage,” she said.
“Younger individuals may benefit from lighter formulations, while those with mature skin should use medical grade skincare and active ingredients such as retinol and a higher potency vitamin C.”
Regular exercise can also improve circulation and skin health, contributing to a more youthful appearance.

“For treating fine lines and wrinkles, retinoids like retinol are highly effective,” she continued.
“These products increase cell turnover, reduce the appearance of wrinkles, and improve skin texture.
“It’s essential to start with a low concentration and gradually increase usage to avoid irritation.
“Hyaluronic acid, peptides, and growth factors can also help plump the skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines.”
Anti-aging tips and 'superstar' products
Dr. Anatalia Moore is a GP and skin specialist with over 11 years of clinical experience.
She told The U.S. Sun that her goal is to equip patients with the knowledge they need to take control of their skin journey.
She said the fundamental basics of a beauty routine are the same for all ages — it should include an effective cleanser, moisturizer, and SPF.
“Moisturizers are my superstar, even over products containing active ingredients,” she said.
“Finding a well-balanced moisturizer that provides the right kind of hydration, replaces natural oils, and seals them in, literally stabilizes your skin.
“This in itself quickly can soften the appearance of fine lines and texture, as often these are worsened by dehydration.
“It also allows the skin the function as it should.
“It then can heal faster, which amongst many things can lead to fewer lines and wrinkles, less flares of dermatitis and rosacea, and shorter-lived, milder breakouts.”

- Adequate sleep
- Balanced diet

GLOW UP
Dr. Saleki revealed a youthful appearance can be achieved without expensive beauty products.
She shared several lifestyle factors to consider for keeping skin healthy.
“To reverse the signs of aging, people can make lifestyle changes such as adopting a balanced diet rich in antioxidants,” she said.
“Staying hydrated, getting enough sleep, managing stress levels, avoiding smoking, limiting alcohol intake, and protecting skin from UV radiation.
“Regular exercise can also improve circulation and skin health, contributing to a more youthful appearance.”
