Schenectady County electric recycling this Saturday

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- Schenectady County residents can responsibly recycle unwanted electronics on May 4 at a free electronic recycling event sponsored by Schenectady County. The event is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at SUNY Schenectady.
Registration is required and can be done online or by calling (518) 388-4775. Drop-offs can be made in the back parking lot at 78 State St. To keep harmful chemicals and metals out of landfills, electronic recycling events increase sustainability efforts by using recycled parts in other marketable materials.
