An interior designer has revealed the three paint colours that he would never have in his bedroom[/caption] So if you want a space that’s sexy and relaxing at the same time, you’ve come to the right place – and prepare to be attacked if your bedroom has yellow walls[/caption]According to Bilal Rehman, a luxury interior pro from the US, one colour screams ‘horse girl’, whilst another is ‘the most stressful shade’.
Posting on social media, Bilal revealed the three common interior bedroom mistakes, as he said: “The three worst paint colours I would never paint your bedroom.
First of all, Bilal shared his thoughts on yellow-painted rooms, as he jokingly claimed: “If you want everyone to know you’re a horse girl then yellow is perfect for you.”
Bilal claimed that having yellow paint in your bedroom captures the essence of someone that is into horse riding and should be avoided at all costs.
Not only is Bilal not a fan of yellow paint in a bedroom, he then shared his thoughts on orange paint.
He explained that he isn’t sure why orange paint ‘would ever be an option’, as he added: “Orange brings way too much energy and brightness into a space that is meant for you to relax and unwind at the end of the day.”

Finally, Bilal also revealed the reason why he isn’t a fan of lime green in bedrooms, as he claimed: “Lime green is the most stressful f*****g colour I have ever seen in my life, honestly that colour just makes me feel that itch – that is not a good way to go for a bedroom.”
Bilal then advised that lime green will not make you feel relaxed, and therefore, is a no no as a bedroom colour.
He concluded: “You want your bedroom to feel sexy and a place you can relax at the end of the day and lime green is not it.”
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @bilalrehmanstudio, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly amassed 42,100 views.
BIG DIVIDE
But social media users were left divided by the interior pro’s claims – whilst many agreed with him, others admitted the colours in their bedrooms.
One person said: “My walls are a dandelion yellow and I do ride horses.”
All three are icky and belong in the 60s and 70s, possibly 80s

Another added: “My childhood bedroom has been all these colours.”
A third commented: “But I like my green walls.”
