I’m an organisation pro & here’s 3 declutter hacks I swear by – including an item you must always keep in your wardrobe
IF your home is full of clutter, don’t worry, you’ve come to the right place.
And particularly if you’ve got loads of stuff in your home that you need to get rid of but you don’t know where to start, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.
Posting on social media, an organisation pro has shared the three declutter hacks she swears by.
The savvy woman, who is known online as ‘Home Reimagined’ explained that thanks to her simple tricks, you will have a clutter-free home.
She advised why you need to have a ‘Designated Donation Box’ in your hallway, as she advised: “Place an empty box in a common area, like the hallway – whenever you see an item you no longer love or, for me, feels overwhelming to maintain… drop it in there!”
The cleaning enthusiast then explained that once the box is full, you can take it to your nearest donation center.
Not only this, but this content creator explained why you must always have a bin bag in your wardrobe.
She explained: “Whenever you try on a piece of clothing that no longer fits, or you don’t like, drop it in there!
“This way you can keep up with constantly removing old items, instead of feeling like you have to go through them all at one time when it’s full!”
As a result, this will give you ‘mental and physical space back’ for items that you actually like and wear regularly.
Finally, the influencer stressed the importance of having a ‘close out routine’.
She advised: “At the end of every day, create a 20-minute close out routine where you reset your home for the next day.”
This can involve picking up all items that you left on the floor and returning them to their homes, tidying up your space, loading or emptying the dishwasher and wiping surfaces.
The TikTok user claimed that returning your home to a state of peace at the end of the day will ensure that you can begin the next day in a positive and refreshed mood.
