Bills RB James Cook to hold youth football camp in Rensselaer
RENSSELAER, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Buffalo Bills star running back James Cook and FlexWork Sports Management will be presenting a youth football camp in Rensselaer this summer. The camp will be held at Rensselaer Junior/Senior High School on July 7.
Cook is going into his third year with the Bills, and has helped the team reach the playoffs the last two seasons alongside quarterback Josh Allen. He won the 2022 College Football National Championship playing for the University of Georgia and was selected to his first Pro Bowl in 2023.
He finished the 2023 season with 1,122 rushing yards, 445 receiving yards and six total touchdowns. Cook is also the younger brother of fellow NFL running back Dalvin Cook.
The camp will offer kids ages six through 16 the opportunity to work with Cook and a staff of knowledgeable coaches across a fun, high-energy day of football. Activities will include hands-on fundamental practice, skill stations, lectures and contests.
The event is scheduled to run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cook will also be running youth camps in Rochester and Buffalo on July 8 and 9 respectively.
Rensselaer Junior/Senior High School is located at 25 Van Rensselaer Drive. Registration for the James Cook Youth Football Camp can be completed online by visiting the FlexWork Sports Management website.
