Zion Williamson Injury Update
Fortunately it’s not all that serious, but it is bad timing.
As you may have seen, former Duke star Zion Williamson injured himself near the end of the Los Angeles-New Orleans play-in game.
There is good news: it’s not an overly serious injury. It’s a hamstring strain.
That's unpleasant but it’s not likely to need surgery and it won’t cause any long-term problems. It will, however, require rest, so he’ll be out for awhile.
Note - we had misunderstood the play-in structure, thinking that the loss to L.A. was the end. That was incorrect. Here’s how it works.
