Dedicated fans are running to buy an affordable $10 beauty dupe for Taylor Swift’s signature lipstick.
Makeup artist Pat McGrath revealed in an Instagram reel that the pop star wears Pat McGrath Labs LiquiLUST Legendary Wear Lipstick in the shade Elson 4.
McGrath collaborated with Taylor for her “Bejeweled” music video and highlighted the products she used on the star.
The singer has also reportedly been wearing the budge-proof lipstick throughout her Eras Tour.
Since the reveal of Taylor’s exact shade, the lipstick has been sold out on the site thanks to zealous fans.
The lipstick saga continues, however, for those who are determined to rock the same look.
Many scoured stores, looking for the perfect dupe for the highly coveted Elson 4.
One fan, Gracie (@zaynstattooz) shared her alternative to the “iconic Taylor Swift lip” in a TikTok video.
After deciding that she couldn’t “gatekeep” the beauty find anymore, she let the cat out of the bag.
The Swiftie explained that she had swatched lipsticks feverishly at work to find the perfect Pat McGrath dupe for Taylor’s favorite lipstick.
“Swatched the Pat McGrath and then I proceeded to swatch 20 different other red lipsticks on my arm to find the perfect match but for a cheaper price,” she said.
“The one that I came across that is the perfect match for $10 and performs better than the original is the NYX Lingerie XXL, shade Untamable.”
She noted that it is “100% transfer-proof” after it dries and added that it even “smells like cupcakes.”
Fans rushed to buy the lipstick dupe, with many stopping to thank her for her hard work.
