Report: Spurs are keeping an eye on title-winning striker who has 18 goals
GiveMeSport have revealed that Tottenham Hotspur are keeping an eye on a couple of strikers from the Bundesliga, including Bayer Leverkusen star Victor Boniface.
It has been widely reported over the past couple of months that the Lilywhites are intent on signing a marquee number nine when the transfer window opens in the summer (Football Insider).
Boniface has now emerged as the latest name on Tottenham’s radar, with GiveMeSport suggesting that the Lilywhites are watching the centre-forwad’s progress closely.
Although the 23-year-old has not been a regular in Xabi Alonso’s starting eleven this season, he has 18 goals to his name across the campaign and boasts of an excellent goals-to-games ratio (Transfermarkt).
Postecoglou likes the look of Serhou Guirassy
According to the report, Ange Postecoglou has also asked the Tottenham scouts to keep an eye on another Bundesliga striker, Serhou Guirassy.
The Stuttgart star has had a prolific season, sitting second behind Harry Kane in the goals charts and boasting of an even better minutes-to-goal ratio than the former Tottenham man (BBC Sport).

While a deal for Guirassy may be easy to complete, given the striker’s low release clause, I doubt Leverkusen would entertain offers for Boniface after the season he has just had. Spurs might have to break the bank to land the Nigerian international.
