PC gamers can pick up a 10/10 game completely free – but it’s only for a limited time
WHILE we all love a good deal, what’s even better is when we get those games for free.
That’s why it’s great for gamers that the Epic Games Store gives away at least one free game every week.
This week is even better as not only can you pick up a free game, but a new free-to-play game will be added to the store.
The Big Con is being given away for free and will go back to its usual price after just one week.
Rated 10/10 on Steam, The Big Con is a comedy adventure with a distinctive art style.
The blurb reads: “Play as Ali, a curious and sarcastic high schooler who ditches band camp to go on a cross-country road trip.
“But this isn’t a joyride! Ali is on an all-important mission to save her family video store from the nasty loan sharks trying to shut their shop down.
“Swindle strangers, pickpocket people, and con commoners across a wacky America of the ‘90s.
“And – it should go without saying – lie to your mom about all of it.
“Choose who deserves to be conned and who might need a helping hand. The world is your oyster (and hey, pearls are worth a lot!).”
The Big Con usually costs £10.99 so you’ll save quite a bit of money by taking advantage of the sale.
Town of Salem 2 is a free-to-play game which is also being added to the store, but if you pick it up this week you’ll get a number of free cosmetics.
Both of these offers are available from Thursday, April 18, 2024, until Thursday, April 25, 2024, after which they’ll be replaced by some new games.
You can download it either through the Epic Games Store web page or directly from the Epic Games Launcher.
The launcher is free to download, and you will need it to play these games, so it’s worth downloading it if you want to claim them.
