Glens Falls cafe, gift shop closing after 10 years
GLENS FALLS, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Juicin' Jar, located at 16 Exchange Street in Glens Falls, is closing its doors. Owner Cristina Hanchett and manager Nicole Laubenheimer made the announcement on Facebook on April 15.
"If you know us, you know how much our small family-owned business has meant to us over the years," read the post. "We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for 10 years of wonderful memories, conversations, and friendships."
Juicin' Jar serves smoothies, fresh-pressed juices, specialty drinks, meals for breakfast and lunch, and baked goods. The shop also sells home decor, beauty products, gift baskets, snacks, and bottled drinks.
Juicin' Jar's last day will be Saturday, April 20. According to the post, some food items may not be available toward the end of the week, and gift shop products are 75% off.
"With as much bittersweet feelings of closing one door, there are exciting joyful feelings of the next season of our lives," read the post. "We want to cherish motherhood and open the door for new opportunities that will benefit the future of our families."
While the physical location on Exchange Street is closing, Hanchett and Laubenheimer hope to have the business live on in some way. They hope to take private orders eventually.
"We know good things are ahead for future business endeavors and please stay connected with us as we make these changes in our business and lives," said Hanchett and Laubenheimer.
