If you're looking for cute and comfy kicks this spring, get the classic Adidas sneakers Taylor Swift was spotted in
If you're on the hunt for comfy and stylish sneakers for spring, you may want to take a cue from Taylor Swift. While the singer, who is currently on a break from her legendary Eras Tour and getting ready to release her new album, The Tortured Poets Department, dresses up in super sparkly outfits on the stage, she prefers a more casual look when she's out and about. After wrapping up four sold-out shows in Sydney, Australia last month, the singer was spotted visiting the city's zoo with her Super Bowl-winning boyfriend Travis Kelce in Adidas Superstar sneakers. Of course, they weren't just any Superstars — she wore the leopard print version.
Swift wore these leopard print kicks to the zoo (which feels very appropriate for the occasion), but you could wear these classics anywhere around town. Pop them on with a pair of leggings, jeans or even a sweater dress in the spring. The Grammy Award-winner isn't the first celebrity to wear this style. Everyone from Katie Holmes and Victoria Beckham to Naomi Watts has been seen in some version of Adidas Superstars. The shoe first launched in 1970 for basketball players, but skaters, hip-hop artists and now fashionistas have adopted them as their own.
Another plus: These popular shoes aren't just stylish — shoppers also love how simple and comfortable they are. They have a lightly padded insole, tongue and collar. And in my own experience wearing Superstars over the years, they've never given me a blister or shin splints.
"I have a hard time finding shoes that are comfortable to wear walking and still look cute. ... But these shoes are perfect and don't make my feet look huge!" exclaimed a happy fan. "I bought four different pairs in different colors. I walked over 120K steps on our vacation last summer and, for the first time in my adult life, my feet weren't killing me at the end of the week. They are fantastic."
Want to recreate Taylor's vibe? Since this particular version came out last summer, limited sizes are available. But, if you like the look of Swift's sneakers and are open to a different Superstar color and style, you're in luck — Adidas has plenty of those you can shop right now:
