Mad EU lackey invites Iran in but bans Nigel Farage. That says it all…

WHEN a conference of Conservative politicians, including two foreign Prime Ministers, was due to be held in Brussels, the local mayor knew just what to do.

Emir Kir ordered the police to break up the conference.

Nigel Farage was set to speak at the event[/caption]

Evict the delegates. And bar anyone from entering.

This seemingly incredible assault on democracy happened this week.

People due to speak at the National Conservatism Conference included Donald Tusk, the Prime Minister of Poland, and Viktor Orban, the leader of Hungary.

Along with our own Nigel Farage incidentally.

None of that bothered the odious little squit, Kir.

Because he disagreed with the politics of those attending, he decided to have the conference closed down.

That’s democracy for you, Belgian style.

Kir, incidentally, is of Turkish origin.

He is a former member of the Belgian Socialist Party.

And he has close links to the horrible AKP, which governs Turkey.

He also thought it perfectly OK to invite the Mayor of Tehran to his manor.

So, fine to put out the bunting for an emissary of our worst enemies, the Mad Mullahs.

Very much not fine to hear speeches from the leaders of friendly neighbouring countries. Madness.

But just in case you think this was all Emir Kir’s doing, a Belgian court upheld his decision to ban the conference.

Our own Prime Minister described this as “worrying”.

So, actually, did the Belgian Prime Minister, Alexander De Croo.

But perhaps we shouldn’t be so surprised, for a number of reasons.

First, Brussels has become a terrorist-ridden hellhole.

The French — who have one or two problems of their own with Islamist terrorism — reckon Brussels is the hub from where most of the trouble is exported.

So there’s that.

Political agenda

But then there is the more general issue of the European Union.

Come on, you remember the EU.

Vast bureaucracy, which we escaped by the skin of our teeth in June 2016.

For a decade and more now, the EU has been relentless in its persecution of countries and politicians who disagree with its hopeless political agenda.

Both Poland and Hungary have been vilified and threatened by the EU because they won’t toe the orthodox line on a whole bunch of issues.

Such as migration into the European Union, for example.

The bullying has been continual.

But at the same time, the people of Europe have begun to wake up to the reality of life in the EU.

And these days, almost every time they go to the polls, they elect parties whose policies are not terribly different to those of Hungary’s Mr Orban.

The EU still tries to stamp down on these parties.

They get hammered by the mainstream press.

Called far-right and, absurdly, neo-Nazi.

But they’re still winning the battle.

So I suppose the only thing left for the Eurocrats to do is just ban the parties outright.

Stop them speaking.

Break up their conferences.

And then have the nerve to call their opponents neo-Nazis!

I suspect that, luckily, the people of Europe have long memories.

They can remember who the real fascists were.

But let me ask you this: Aren’t you incredibly thankful that we are no longer a part of that rotten, overbearing, undemocratic institution?

That we got the hell out, just in time?

Beat the big boys

THE local elections are coming up — and it’s time to teach the two major parties a lesson.

My party, the Social Democratic Party, is hoping to boot Labour out of Middleton and Belle Isle, in Leeds.

We’ve already taken two seats there and candidate Rob Chesterfield is hopeful of a third.

Meanwhile, we have the excellent Amy Gallagher fighting to become Mayor of London, under the slogan, “Stand up to Woke!”

We’ve plenty of other candidates up and down the country who provide a strong alternative to Labour and the Tories.

And then there’s Reform, which is rightly surging in the polls.

And the Greens.

So much choice for you all . . .  please don’t waste it on our complacent, useless, major parties!

Yobs just don’t bovver these days

BAD news. The excellent manufacturer of eight-holed AirWair bovver boots, Doc Martens, is in real trouble.

Its shares have slumped 30 per cent to a record low.

The problem, as I see it, is that nobody is kicking anybody’s head in any more.

The young people of today are more interested in stabbing or shooting their enemies than wrapping a DM round their neck.

It’s all very sad. Still, at least the celebs like ’em.

Lesson to all pupils

HUGE congratulations to Katharine Birbalsingh.

She is sometimes called “Britain’s strictest headteacher”.

James Glossop - The Times Glasgow
Headteacher Katharine Birbalsingh has stood her ground a won a case against a Muslim pupil[/caption]

She runs a high school in North London which gets brilliant exam results.

One of her Muslim pupils tried to sue the school after it banned prayer rituals.

The student’s family received a reported £150,000 in legal aid to bring this ludicrous case.

But Katharine stood her ground – and won the case.

The lesson is very simple.

If you want to learn lots of stuff and get great exam results, go to Katharine’s Michaela Community School.

If, however, you want to spend half the day on your knees praying, go somewhere else.

Birbalsingh’s victory is a victory for all schools.

Stop trans mania

THE brilliant Labour MP Rosie Duffield has been speaking about how she was victimised by her own party.

Rosie has copped a barrage of abuse and vilification from members of her own side.

Simply because she does not go along with the transgender mania, which is rife in Labour.

Indeed, she may be about the only politician in the party who can correctly identify what a woman is.

Needless to say, Sir Keir Starmer didn’t protect her from the outrageous attacks.

Keir sometimes knows what a woman is. And then sometimes he doesn’t.

If he can’t work it out by the time of the election, don’t vote for him.

Money up in smoke

I STOPPED smoking nearly three years ago after a lifetime of chugging through about 60 a day.

I was annoyed when the Blair government banned smoking in pubs.

The Gov ban on cigarettes is poorly thought out[/caption]

And I still have issues with the health campaigners who want to remove every pleasure from our lives.

But I have to say, if the Government had stopped me smoking 50 years ago, I wouldn’t still be coughing up bits of lung.

And I’d have saved enough money to buy a mansion in Beverly Hills.

Rishi's rancid lecture

THE Prime Minister has been lecturing Israel again.

Rishi Sunak said that “calm heads” must prevail.

This was in response to Iran bombarding the tiny country with 300 missiles and drones.

Listen, Sunak, and your awful Foreign Secretary David Cameron, if Iran sent 300 missiles into British cities and you did nothing, you would be kicked out – and rightly so.

Day in life of Cook

IT’S hard keeping up with all these International Days, but one has to try, surely?

Last week, World Dolphin Day and World Good Deed Day fell on the same day.

I went to the Captain James Cook museum for the International Day for Monuments and Sites[/caption]

I tried to combine the two by punching a Japanese bloke on the nose and shouting: “Leave our dolphins alone!”

Meanwhile, today is the International Day for Monuments and Sites.

It is an attempt to demonstrate the world’s cultural diversity, apparently.

I’m going to the Captain James Cook museum up here on Teesside.

He discovered Australia.

He was murdered by culturally diverse people in Hawaii.

But he took a good few with him.
