Authorities looking for man missing from Iberia Parish group home
IBERIA PARISH, La. (KLFY) -- The Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office is requesting assistance from the public in locating a man missing from a group home.
Derrick Batiste was last seen at approximately 9 p.m. Tuesday at a group home located in the 2600 block of Old Jeanerette Road in Iberia Parish. Derrick suffers from a medical condition that may impair his judgement, officials said.
Derrick Batiste is a 45 year old male, 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing approximately 145 lbs. Derrick has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue jacket, white shirt, blue jeans and burgundy do-rag. He is believed to be on foot.
