9 Best Charlotte Tilbury dupes for Flawless Filter, Magic Cream and more
NEARLY every time I compliment someone on their lipstick, eyeshadow or blusher, they’ll tell me they’re wearing Charlotte Tilbury.
And there’s one very simple reason why – Charlotte Tilbury products are some of the best on the market, thanks to their innovative formulas that flatter all and stay put all day.
Discover Charlotte Tilbury’s collection
However, some of the brand’s most-loved products cost more than a pretty penny – so it’s unsurprising that Charlotte Tilbury ‘dupes’ are one of the internet’s most-discussed beauty topics.
As a beauty writer, I’ve swatched, tested and tried a mammoth share of cosmetics in my time.
And, I’ve found some great Charlotte Tilbury alternatives, which won’t break the bank.
From Charlotte Tilbury’s Hollywood Flawless Filter dupe to an insanely cheap Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream clone you will want to snap up, I’ve found all the best alternatives to stock up on.
I won’t tell if you don’t.
Best dupe for Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Island Glow Bronzing Drops
Lottie London Hot Glaze Bronzing Drops, £8.95
The Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Island Glow Bronzing Drops are one of brand’s newest launches and it has been creating a bit of a stir since it hit shelves.
As the brand’s first semi-permanent bronzing product, they’re a great way to create a natural just-retuned-from-holiday glow, but there are cheaper alternatives out there.
Enter Lottie London Hot Glaze Bronzing Drops.
Lottie London’s results aren’t as long-lasting (it only lasted until I washed my make-up off) but it did provide me with a similar instant, natural glow.
In contrast, Charlotte Tilbury’s Beautiful Skin Island Glow Bronzing Drops gave me a glow for roughly three days.
Lottie London’s drops are also a great canvas for base makeup, thanks to its hydrating formula featuring hyaluronic acid.
Best dupe for Charlotte Tilbury Hypnotysing Pop Shots
KIKO Cosmetics Glitter Shower Eyeshadow, £9.99
When it comes to eyeshadow, I’m all about minimal effort – I love a formula that can be daubed onto your eyelids, rather than faffing around with several shades and multiple brushes.
If the same rings true with you, then you’ve probably already had Charlotte Tilbury Hypnotysing Pop Shots on your radar.
These bitesize eyeshadows are the perfect size for patting into your eyelids for an instant shot of colour and glitter.
I’ve been a big fan of Charlotte Tilbury’s Pop Shots for a while, but I stumbled across a dupe last Christmas when my sister thrust her favourite KIKO Cosmetics eyeshadow into my hands.
At just £9.99, the KIKO Cosmetics Glitter Shower Eyeshadows have a number of the qualities of the Charlotte Tilbury alternative – they’re perfectly glittery and easy to blend – at a fraction of the cost.
Whilst KIKO’s glitter is finer than Charlotte Tilbury’s – meaning it isn’t quite as shimmering and has a more powdery texture- they are easy to build up for your desired look.
KIKO’s Fine Wine shade is a stunning rose gold that is universally flattering and perfect for both the office and the bar.
I can often be found tapping it into my eyelids before rushing out the door.
Best dupe for Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Light Wand
E.L.F Halo Glow Highlight Beauty Wand
As a beauty journalist, I’ve involuntarily become my friend’s make-up agony aunt.
I’m always being asked for my verdict on viral products, but the question I keep getting asked is: “Are the Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Lights Wands any good?”
The simple answer is yes – if you like a bright, bold highlighter and are up for doing a lot of blending.
Personally, I find the formula a little too intense for me, so I tend to opt for a highlighter that isn’t so pigmented.
When E.L.F announced it was launching similar highlighting wands, I was sceptical.
However, I’ve been impressed – especially when you consider the whopping £21 difference in price.
Whilst E.L.F’s packaging isn’t quite as luxe (they can’t be turned ‘Off’ like the Charlotte Tilbury alternatives can, meaning they can get quite messy), they deliver a satisfying glow and aren’t too glowy.
My favourite shade is Champagne, which bronzes and highlights simultaneously.
I simply dab a couple of dots onto my cheekbones and blend by tapping with my finger. Voila!

Best dupe of Charlotte Tilbury Magic Hydrator Mist
Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Miracle Hydrating Mist
If your skin starts to feel tight and dry during the day, then it’s time to look towards an on-the-go hydrator mist.
My skin used to feel incredibly dry halfway through the day (thanks, office air conditioning) before I started using Charlotte Tilbury Magic Hydrator Mist.
A couple of spritzes – over or under make-up – and my skin feels refreshed and rebalanced.
However, when I reached the bottom of my last bottle, I picked up Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Miracle Hydrating Mist on a bit of a whim.
Now, I’ll be honest: I’m not a big fan of Elizabeth Arden’s Eight Hour Cream, due to its thick texture and powerful scent, which didn’t bode well for the Eight Hour Mist.
However, this mist is delicately scented and very lightweight, meaning it sinks into your skin after a few seconds.
Just like the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Hydrator Mist, it instantly hydrates and keeps skin feeling fresh all day long, thanks to being packed full of antioxidants and vitamins.
Best dupe for Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Push-Up Lashes
H&M Lengthening Mascara
Mascara is – hands down – my favourite beauty product.
If I could only pack one make-up product for a weekend away, it would be my trusty mascara – as it can make me look wide awake in seconds.
Whilst I like the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Push-Up Lashes mascara because it doesn’t clump and keeps lashes lengthened all day long, I do think there are cheaper alternatives out there which are nearly as good.
H&M has recently revamped its beauty offerings, and I’ve been very impressed – especially by the Lengthening Mascara.
But before you get put off by a mascara that costs less than a couple of coffees, hear me out.
It is similar to the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Push-Up Lashes, and its fine-tooth comb teases lashes to new heights without clumping or weighing them down.
The formula is easy to remove, too, but it also won’t smudge easily – which is a win if you’ve got watery eyes like me.
Best dupe for Charlotte Tilbury Charlotte’s Magic Lip Oil Crystal Elixir
NYX Professional Makeup Fat Oil Lip Drip Lip Gloss
Trying the Charlotte Tilbury Lip Oil was never high on my agenda – after all, I’ve tried loads of lip oils, so what makes this one so special?
However, the first time I applied it to my lips, I gasped.
The Charlotte Tilbury Lip Oil offers unparalleled shine and a glossy finish, without being sticky, so there’s no risk of hair getting stuck to your lips on a windy day.
However, if you love it as much as I do, you’ll get through it quickly, so it’s worth looking into a cheaper alternative.
This is where the NYX Professional Makeup Fat Oil Lip Drip Lip Gloss comes in.
Whilst it’s not as lightweight as Charlotte Tilbury’s offering (it has a slightly stickier consistency), the NYX Fat Oil oil gives lips a satisfying shimmer that will stay put for longer than you’d expect.
After my first application, my lips felt hydrated and supple – so definitely worth the small £7.50 investment.
Best dupe for Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter
e.l.f Halo Glow Liquid Filter, £14
If you spend any time on TikTok, you might have seen the e.l.f Halo Glow Liquid Filter being raved about as a near-perfect dupe for Charlotte Tilbury’s Hollywood Flawless Filter.
With shoppers hopping online to heap praise on the affordable alternative, claiming the dupe is “Amazing!” and “lasts all day”.
The Sun Shopping team have tried the e.l.f Halo Glow Liquid Filter and can confirm that it gives a thin veil of radiant coverage we’ve come to love from the original.
It’s not quite as blendable and comes in eight shades rather than 12, but the bottle is almost the same size and you only need a small amount applied with the doe foot applicator, meaning it should last a fair while.
At just £14, it’s a great wallet-friendly base to wear under foundation for an extra glow or alone for a more natural radiance.
Best dupe for Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream
Revolution Pro Miracle Cream, £10
Revolution is famous for its accurate makeup dupes and the Revolution Pro Miracle Cream is no exception thanks to its striking similarities to the bestselling Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream.
The Revolution cream is lightweight and formulated with anti-inflammatory shea butter, super hydrating hyaluronic acid and niacinamide which regulates sebum for clearer skin.
Add brightening vitamin C and you’ve got a cocktail for a lovely moisturiser for just a tenner.
Shoppers love its texture, with fans praising the “Beautiful consistency”.
A beauty fan online notes: “My skin appears to drink it in and feels soft and smooth after applying it”.
Another adds, “At 78 years old I’ve used a lot of cream in my life, but this must be one of the best”.
This dupe consistently gets praise so definitely worth testing out yourself if you need to watch your pennies.
Best dupe for Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk
L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Satin Lipstick Beige a Nu 630, £8.99
Possibly the most famous of the entire Charlotte Tilbury range is the OG Pillow Talk lipstick.
It’s creamy and hydrating while still being matte and the shade suits everyone.
But it costs £26 a pop, so if you wear it every day, you may find yourself getting through it quicker than you would like.
Fortunately the L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Satin Lipstick Beige a Nu is a good match – albeit not identical – and a lot cheaper.
Shoppers can’t stop raving about its velvet texture, with one saying “The pigmentation is incredible”, adding “It feels lightweight, hydrating with a beautiful satin finish”.
Another adds “Great dupe for pillow talk”!
It’s formulated with Omega 3 and vitamin E for hydration and creaminess and produces a satin/matte finish, just like the original.
