Flooding has wiped out the UAE’s millionaire playground – with Dan capturing the scenes from their hotel room in a dramatic Instagram video.
Now a source has told us: “Dan and Jacqueline took the kids on a break to Dubai and it’s ended up being a nightmare.
“They’ve been trapped by the storms and are concerned about getting back home. The airport is chaos.
“They’ve hunkered down at their hotel and are hoping for the best.”
It’s not the first time their getaway has been scuppered by the conditions.
The source added to us: “It’s like history repeating itself for them too.
“Last time they went to Dubai just the two of them in 2019 they got caught up is a big storm too.”
Dan took to his Instagram Stories to post an update showing the family holing up in their hotel.
He enjoyed a cuddle with youngest daughter Mia, aged five, as they relaxed on the bed, with him captioning the sweet snap which he captioned with the words: “Daddy’s girl.”
Yet his son Teddy, aged 10, looked less than impressed as he saw the conditions outside.
Meanwhile Jacqueline and her eldest daughter Ella, aged nine, were nowhere to be seen.
Weather warnings
The historic weather event is bigger than any ever previously recorded in Dubai, where data collection began in 1949, according to state-run WAM news agency.
21 and 24 inbound flights were cancelled at Dubai International Airport (DXB) on Tuesday, with others diverted to other neighbouring airports.
DXB is still affected on today, with the transport hub writing on X at 9am local time: “We advise you NOT to come to the airport, unless absolutely necessary.
“Flights continue to be delayed and diverted. Please check your flight status directly with your airline.
“We are working hard to recover operations as quickly as possible in very challenging conditions.”
Bikini babe
The floods came just hours before the EastEnders showed off her weight loss as she revealed her latest career move.
The Lauren Branning star has released her latest swimwear collection with fast-fashion retailer In The Style.
Jacqueline revealed her real dress size – this being size 12 – as she modelled a zebra-print two-piece from her range.
She recently showed off her weight loss during a trip to the gym, where she revealed her fitness secret.
Jacqueline has previously told how she has started a new fitness routine involving various workouts – but is yet to detail to fans what these exercises include.
She explained: “I need to know what I’m doing is correct and right for me before I share it with you guys, because I don’t want to be messing with your lives.”
Even keeping up her efforts on a family holiday, she swapped out sun loungers for the gym.
