Stanley Iceflow Fast Flow Bottle Review: The bottle that stood the Caribbean heat
AS a lover of the OG Stanley Cup, when I saw the cult brand had launched a new iteration – the Iceflow Fast Flow bottle – I knew I needed to give it a try.
With a trip to St Lucia pending, I thought, what better place to test out just how cold it keeps your drinks than in 30-degree heat?

Since the beginning of 2024, I’ve been taking my hydration seriously.
It may be the impending half marathon I’m running, or the merciless way that each birthday seems to approach more quickly than the last, but my health, and drinking more water have quickly become more of a priority.
As someone who loves the Stanley Quencher (you can read my review here) when the brand announced a new bottle, the IceFlow Fast Flow, I jumped at the chance to give it a go.
I opted for the Iceflow Fast Flow Bottle in the shade Tigerlily Plum and was immediately obsessed.
The orange shade is so vibrant and perfect for the upcoming spring and summer months, plus with a top handle, twist cap and recessed body, the bottle is really easy to hold and carry, making it way more portable than the original Quencher.
I was lucky enough to go on holiday to St Lucia at the beginning of March, so when I read that the Iceflow can keep drinks cold for up to 10 hours (and iced for up to two days) I thought it was perfect to take with me on my travels.
Although the temperature was allegedly only 30 degrees, it felt like I was on holiday on the sun’s surface – I have never experienced heat like it.
The wind provided respite, but as soon as it dropped I could immediately feel the sun searing my skin, luckily the hotel we stayed at provided filtered water – so it made it easy to test my Stanley’s cooling power.
Due to how hot it was, I was never able to give the two-day ice test a go, however, our water stayed refreshingly cold even when it was sitting out in the St Lucian sun.

First Impressions
When I first set eyes on the Iceflow Fast Flow Bottle I was surprised at how sleek it was.
It’s not to say that the Quencher isn’t designed well, it’s more that it’s a big bit of kit, so the fact that the bottle was narrow did come as a surprise – especially compared to the Quencher.
I also thought that perhaps it wouldn’t be big enough to keep me hydrated but at 600ml, the capacity is more than your standard bottle which you can tell when you’re drinking it throughout the day.
I only really fill it up a couple of times (three if I’m going to the gym) on an office day, however, in the heat I was of course filling it up a lot more.
The Fast Flow bottle costs £39.99, which compared to other water bottles is slightly pricier, but if you’re opting for a Stanley you know you’re investing in quality.
Not only will the bottle stand the test of time, but it keep your drinks cold and refreshing for hours.
Features and Performance
Some highlighted specifications of this water bottle include the double-wall vacuum insulation, recycled 8/8 stainless steel, BPA-free composition, and the fact that it’s dishwasher safe.
The key feature of the Iceflow Fast Flow bottle is its claim that it keeps drinks cold for 10 hours and keeps them iced for two days.
These are big claims, and in all honesty, unfortunately, I didn’t get the chance to do the ice test as I was guzzling water on holiday, but I can vouch for the fact that drinks stayed super cold for at least a few hours.

Days out in the heat put the IceFlow through its paces.
In the Caribbean heat for most of the day with little access to shade, it’s crucial that you not only keep topped up on sun-cream but stay hydrated.
The Iceflow was able to keep our drinks cold all day, even while sat in the sun, proving it really can keep up with its it’s claims.
One thing I’ll say is that there was some condensation build-up around the cap, but the sun was extremely strong so I suppose it was to be expected when taking into consideration how cold the water inside was.

I absolutely would recommend the Stanley Iceflow Fast Flow Bottle – perhaps even more so than the Quencher.
As much as I love the OG version, this iteration is so much easier to take with me on the move, which ultimately means that I stay super hydrated.
Not only did it stand the St Lucian heat, but it also looked great and was easy to take with us on the move.
The Stanley Iceflow Fast Flow Bottle has been designed for an active lifestyle, and thanks to features such as a sleek design, twist cap and recessed design it’s easy and light to use, and take with you – and it does keep your drinks as cold as it claims.
It’s my new go-to, even now I’m back from holiday.
