Crack dealer dodges deportation after being deemed ‘young for his age’ and ‘naive’
A CRACK dealer dodged deportation after he was deemed to be “young for his age” and “naive”.
A judge over-ruled the Home Office, claiming Jabril Hussein Abdullahi may go astray if returned to Italy.

He had moved to the UK aged 16 with his mother under pre-Brexit freedom of movement rules.
She returned to her native Somalia in 2020, leaving him with an aunt.
Abdullahi turned to dealing for money but was caught, convicted of touting a Class A drug and jailed for 41 months.
Foreign nationals sentenced to at least 12 months are deported by the Home Office, unless there are exceptional circumstances.
The judge, however, said: “Living within his very female family and the youngest child — a boy — speaks very strongly to his being cossetted, spoilt, and never being expected to ‘man-up’.
“In this scenario, I consider it unlikely that he has the language, the skills, or the adaptability to settle in Italy, to find his own [accommodation], a job, and make friendships, without making bad choices.”
She said Abdullahi’s failure to attend his Upper Tribunal, Immigration and Asylum Chamber hearing in London “might demonstrate a lack of seriousness and perhaps immaturity”.
The Home Office was contacted for comment.
