Six Hibees Return From International Break

There were six Hibees representing the Club over the international break!
Ghana – Jojo Wollacott
Hibs goalkeeper Jojo Wollacott made his first appearance for Ghana in two years over the international break - taking his senior international Ghana's caps to 12.
The shot-stopper was on the bench for Ghana’s 2-1 defeat to Nigeria, but played the full 90 minutes against Uganda with the game finishing 2-2.

Myziane Maolida – Comoros
Myziane Maolida made his third senior appearance for Comoros!
The Hibs forward played the full 90 minutes in a 0-0 draw with Angola in Marrakech, but did not feature in their victory over Uganda.

Wales – Dylan Levitt
Dylan Levitt was part of the Wales squad that suffered EURO 2024 heartbreak over the international window.
Wales comfortably beat Finland (4-1) in the Play-Off Semi-Final, but lost out on penalties to Poland – losing 5-4 in the shoot-out after the match finished goalless.
The Hibs midfielder was selected for the squad, however did not feature in either of the matches.
Scotland U19s – Rory Whittaker, Rudi Molotnikov and Jacob MacIntyre
This year has seen the rise of several members of the Hibernian FC Academy! So far, six youngsters have made their First Team debuts this season, including Rory Whittaker, Rudi Molotnikov and Jacob MacIntyre who have all kicked-on and gained international selection during the 2023/24 campaign.
The trio were involved for Scotland U19s during their UEFA 2024 Elite Round qualifiers in Italy. Unfortunately, the camp did not go to plan for the young Scots who lost all three of their qualifying matches.
Rory Whittaker played the full 90 minutes in a 3-1 defeat against Italy in their opening match, whilst Jacob MacIntyre and Rudi Molotnikov were both involved three days laters as the Scots were beaten 3-2 by Georgia.
In their final match, all three Hibees started against the Czech Republic on Tuesday, gaining more valuable minutes at international level, with the young Scots losing 2-0 on the day.
All six players will now fly back to Edinburgh to link up with Nick Montgomery’s side ahead of our trip to Ibrox on Saturday.
