It is like watching nature in action in this post.
Even better, this plant tip is free and works like a charm.
The idea came from TikTok user Garden Gal Danielle (@gardengaldanielle).
She swears you do not need green fingers to make a success of your garden.
She could be proved right with this plant-loving hack.
Anyone with droopy, sad-looking houseplants should listen up.
This one-pot wonder tip could bring them back to life again.
SIGNS OF A THIRSTY POT PLANT
Pick up your plant. If it feels light and the leaves are drooping, it needs a drink.
So, put it in a small bowl with water and leave it for 15 minutes.
The plant will visibly perk up as it takes as much water as it needs.
But there are other ways of keeping houseplants healthy, nourished and well-watered.
The Stem has shared a few tips to encourage good plant health.
PLANT HYDRATION
Always water from the bottom. This prevents overwatering, which can cause as much damage as not watering enough.
MISTING FOR INCREASED HUMIDITY
This is especially important for tropical plants.
Our centrally-heated homes can create a dry environment and that’s not ideal for these exotic plants.
So a spritz once a week will keep them healthier for longer.

POT PLANT BABYSITTER
Plants need regular watering but what happens when you are away?
Unless you have a neighbor willing to drop in regularly, you must find a solution.
That’s where watering bulbs come in handy.
Water is stored at the top of the bulb and slowly trickles down, keeping the plant hydrated.
KEEP PESTS AWAY
Pest infestation is always a risk with plants, even indoor ones.
But there are ways of protecting them by spreading crushed eggshells and sea shells around the base of the plant.
It could help in the fight against mites and gnats.
